HIS STORY CHAPTER ONE
"Hey, I know her." Is what I said to Patty as we were checking out at Walmart. I swear that's her. Her is referring to a girl I knew when I was 16 years old. We dated a few times and then she disappeared. I went to her mom's to figure out where she was. Her mom did not give me any information. So, I had to accept that I couldn't find her. Now here we are 30 years later and I see her again. After trying many different avenues to find the person I wanted to be with and not being successful, naturally I am interested in just about everyone. However, I remembered this girl. I really wanted to see her and was very sad that I couldn't find her. My goodness I thought to myself, I have approximately 4 minutes to do SOMETHING. I walked over and said, "Hey, I know you". Her response was "Really, what's your name?" "Brian Baker" I said. She practically wrote her number on my arm. I took that as a good sign.
HIS STORY CHAPTER TWO
Since I have learned to not be so anxious or needy, I decided to wait to call. I waited 5 days and called. She answered the phone and I said, "Uh yeah, I'm looking for a loser driver". She laughed. I found out that she works Uber and was working that night. We talked about when she would be available to go on date or see each other. Busy, Busy, Busy. Thursday I had pool leagues at a local pool hall. She got off work from Walmart at 9 pm. I asked her to come to pool hall and meet me there. (I was so nervous. What if she don't like me? Am I good enough? Etc. During games I could think clearly. When done, thinking again. 9 pm(more like 9:23 pm she came in to the pool hall. I think we shook hands. Well first I seen her walking in(wow, cute) We started talking, order drinks, coke for me, 2 cokes. We talked, found out what she does for fun-watch her animals playing and interacting. She said very entertaining to her. My turn play pool game. I remember I'm playing pretty food, remember winning game, shook hands went sat down, she said she used to play with her brother. Hmmm. I asked where, she said a bar that I know, she played on team for players that I know.
We met in 2019. we went on dates, and on night we played pool. I was impressed on how when she shoots, looks very good on stance, mechanics, alignment. Thought cool that I can start showing her new stuff from a good starting point.

2024 we are married now and visiting Las Vegas Griff's Scotch Doubles as Partners.
